We were biking around the Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City and I noticed a park that looked pretty cool so we stopped in….. and were not disappointed. It so happened that there was a skating competition this day. Take a look at what can happen when you have a quality park.
One of the many competitors,
The guy on the couch had quite a few near misses….. a couple landed on his face.
Friends and spectators look on. No need for stadium seating, a clean ground will do.
Diego Ochoa
I met Diego after the competition and we spoke for a few minutes. He landed a couple sweet tricks, but today wasn’t his day. Nevertheless, he was happy to be in the park this day- his first time here. He heard about the competition from a friend and decided to come into the city for it. “(In Spanish) I come into the city a few times a week. For holidays, weekends.”
On the park: “I like this park. There are a lot of people here because there are a lot of jobs nearby and lots of people walking by. They don’t live here, but they work nearby”
